Liquid Trace Elementsfrom Celtic Chemicals

The solution increases the growth and metabolic activity of methane-producing bacteria, while reducing VFA levels to optimise overall performance. It is available in 5, 10, 25, 200, and 1000-litre containers with delivery in under two weeks. These fast-acting, tailor-made trace element solutions offer high bioavailability and are available in both shock and recovery doses—either single or multi-element blends—to quickly restore optimum levels. Maintenance doses are also available, designed to complement your feedstock and sustain peak performance. Existing products can be replicated at competitive prices, and own-label options are offered for distributors and biological support companies.

Powder Trace Elements

Celtic Chemicals’ latest biogas-optimisation product is a dry blend of the key trace elements Cobalt, Selenium, Nickel, Molybdenum and Tungsten. Developed for daily use in biogas plants, it comes in 500-gram biodegradable polythene pouches that can be added directly to the digester or mixed with the feedstock. This eliminates the need for heavy handling, pumping, scooping or manual dosing. The trace-element concentration and dosing rate are set at one 500-gram pouch per megawatt per day. For a 500-kilowatt plant, simply add one pouch every other day.

MethaTec Essentials Basic

A granulated emergency mixture of essential trace elements in a ferric hydroxide carrier. Designed to compensate for acute deficiency situations and to reduce high levels of organic acids. MethaTec rapidly restores the trace element balance and ensures efficient breakdown of acids, leading to plant recovery and improved biogas production.

MethaTec Essentials

A granulated, individual mix of essential micronutrients for process stabilisation in biogas plants. If analysis shows a lack of essential trace elements MethaTec Essentials will restore the optimal supply to the bacteria. The mix of micro-nutrients is tailored to each individual plant’s microbial requirements.

MethaTec Trace n'zyme

A mix of trace elements combined with ferric hydroxide to bind sulphides, improving micronutrient bioavailability, with the added advantage of enzymes. These enzymes aid in the breakdown of high fibre feedstock that usually take longer to ferment. This ensures the maximum extraction of energy from the feedstock, giving long lasting improvements to efficiency.
